Each year, the HCH Scholarship Fund is proud to provide tuition assistance to students pursuing education and careers in the nursing field.

Over the past two years of the health crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic, nurses all across the nation have been celebrated and thanked for their service. As a community, we admire and thank our nurses for the sacrifices they make every day to care for others. Making the decision to go into the nursing field is no small thing, that’s why supporting the nurses of tomorrow is crucial.

This year, eight returning recipients were joined by 3 new recipients! We are proud to note that three of the recipients are current or former Windmere employees!

Alexis Struck, returning recipient and employee of the Home, was inspired to enter the nursing field “because of my work at the Holland Home. I have worked at the Holland Home for six years and it has helped me to develop a passion for helping people. It brings me joy to be able to help people when they are in a time of need.”
