Have you ever painted or redecorated a room in your house, only to step back and realize how the adjoining rooms suddenly appear very dated and tired looking?

At the Windmere, we have been dealing with that situation on a larger scale.   When you walked from the addition and the refurbished sitting room into the resident hallways, you became aware that over 20 years have passed since the construction of the West Wing, along with that era of decorating. Color palates have changed, as well as carpet design.

The HCH Foundation has been busy raising money for a new campaign called “Refresh & Renew,” as we set our sights on updating our corridors to a unified “refreshed” look, with new floor coverings and fresh paint.

Come visit the Home and see the beautiful results on our ground and top floors (coordinating décor forthcoming!)  Soon, the second floor will complete the transformation as well.  Thanks to all of you who are helping to make this happen, and grateful for all of those who are still considering helping us with this life-enriching project.

If you would like to discuss how you may be able to support the Refresh & Renew campaign, please contact the Foundation at 973-427-4087 or foundation@hchnj.org.
