Our residents enjoy a full – and fulfilling – lifestyle here at the Home.

After moving to the Home, many of our residents feel they have more freedom than ever.

Do you enjoy socializing? Our fully staffed Activities Department organizes games, events, fitness sessions, special trips and more for residents every day of the year. Not only are activities tailored to meet the preferences and abilities of residents in every level of care, but there are over 500 activities scheduled in an average month. Our staff and volunteers are always working for the comfort and well-being of our residents.

As a resident at the Windmere, you can expect the joy and fellowship of living in a Christian atmosphere, with the comfort and confidence of knowing your future health care needs will be met for the rest of your life. Other services include:

  • Three daily meals.
  • Professional medication management.
  • Professional services from our 24/7 licensed nurses, medical director, licensed dietician, licensed therapist, and chaplains who are available seven days a week.
  • Around-the-clock skilled nursing care and a qualified physician always on call.
  • Access to limited on-site bank services, available twice each month.
  • Cable television.
  • Laundry facilities.
  • Housekeeping services.

With so many opportunities, you might need to schedule some time for yourself!

Why not enjoy a freshly baked cookie in one of our coffee shops or work on a puzzle in a cozy sitting room? Or you can borrow a book from our library and read it in front of the fireplace in the Great Room. Prefer something more active? Our Fitness Center, billiards table, woodshop and spacious grounds are always recommended.

We believe that spiritual health is as vital to our residents as physical and emotional well-being. One of our chaplains is on-site seven days a week to provide pastoral care. They provide one-on-one visits on a regular basis and facilitate devotions and Chapel services, and they are always available to talk.

Of course, spiritual care isn’t restricted to one department at the Home. From the Board of Directors to residents and staff, God’s love is demonstrated at every opportunity. Whether through a housekeeper cleaning a room or a nurse dispensing medications, we want our residents to experience the love and respect that all people deserve.

“I love it here and thank God for it.”
